I've recently caught wind of Stand Up Humboldt, through word of mouth and finding their group on Facebook. And today while meeting with Dianna and Sarah, they told me about an event going on tomorrow at 12:30PM in Eureka, California, at Sequoia Park. I just spoke to Tara ShiningStar on Facebook who told me that she was inspired by another person she saw named Mandy Jacobs with Watchmen33.org." Apparently Watchmen33 is providing information for people to serve their schools with affidavits, which I believe is sort of like having the schools sign acknowledging that they know they're breaking the law. These names and ideas are fairly new to me, but it breaks my heart to see kids playing outside in masks and I want to at least document that parents are organizing for their kids sake.
Tara tells me they'll be there at Sequoia Park with information for parents who want to know how they can protect their children from overburdensome mandates. In my opinion(not just mine), masks are not meant to be worn daily for hours and hours at a time, it's just not healthy. I'm no expert not even a parent; but I do believe that once we can accept that masks don't prevent transmission of covid19, we can then discuss actual preventative measures that work. Forcing these types of mandates on children is just plain unnecessary. It makes me happy that there are people out there organizing to restore sanity to a world that lost it due to fear of the potentially deadly unknown.
Thank you for your courage!
