Hi! My name is Dee and I moved to Humboldt County in 1990. I can never forget all the US GOVERNMENT OUR OF HUMBOLDT COUNTY bumper stickers on the back of cars, and the attitude that went along with it.

The last 5 years have revealed an immeasurable amount of corruption in our local and federal governments. Know matter what side of politics the people of Humboldt are on it's easy to see that we have all been under a great deal of stress from all the lawlessness.

My hope and drive lately is to find a remnant of old Humboldt, and to step it up a notch where we the people of Humboldt will prove that we can self govern.

The constitution is still the supreme law of the land, and any statute, ordinance or mandate that goes against this great document is null and void ~ Marbury vs Madison

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness ~ Declaration of the United States of America
