Justin Schwartzman, an inspiring saxophonist and I met last year when he played with Farm Fresh during their set at the Mad River Market. Justin is the creator of Bounskee, a game he designed when one day at work it occurred to him that he could be bouncing a ping pong ball through corrugated channels for fun. From that moment forward, Justin’s dedication grew into commitment as he saw people light up time and time again while playing Bounskee.

Bounskee fueled Justin’s passion for community as he began organizing activities to engage people in healthy competition through game play. He built prototypes out of cardboard, then improved his craftsmanship and design skills using wood and a laser engraver to offer more robust design concepts. Now he’s got a patent pending, multi-modular table-top gaming platform that’s customizable and interchangeable for many different gaming experiences. Impressively, Bounskee has become a hit anywhere people congregate together.

I remember when I was interning with business minds in my early 20’s, our manager insisted that we play video games as a form of team-building-time well spent. Bounskee is designed to fill a similar role in community environments such as the company break room or pizza place, as an interface for bringing people together to laugh and play. Companies can even purchase a Bounskee with their logos included or choose from other promotional options such as signage, lanterns, and coaster cubbies, all found at JustOneUsCreations.com.

Interested players can become a Bounskee affiliate and form communities around the game, or purchase a Bounskee to bring their friends and family together. Bounskee is training league masters to organize tournaments and helping people find ways to have fun in person. As our social environment becomes increasingly digital, I feel it’s important to recognize the value of a game like Bounskee for how it brings people together. I also feel that Justin’s passion for what he’s doing is admirable and worthy of recognition.

That’s why I recommend anyone reading this to head on over to either of Justin’s websites where you can learn about the Bounskee experience from the man who made the game! We support creators like Justin in their effort to make the world a better place. You can support Justin and the Bounskee mission by purchasing or upgrading your current Bounskee build, or choose from any of the Justoneus Creations available to promote your business and improve your space. Thanks to Justin, we have this opportunity to experience a wonderful game brought to life through the people and communities that love to play!
